I used to get watery eyes a lot but this stopped when I realised I was omega-3 deficient and started taking flax-seed. Fish and cod-liver oil are just as good for helping prevent watery eyes for me.

Homeopathy for Watery Eyes. Allium cepa is often used for watery eyes. Natrum muriaticum is useful for allergy problems with watery eyes.

Watery Eyes

Normal tears Tears are made in a gland under the skin above the eye. They flow over the front surface of the eye, and drain into tiny tear ducts in the eyelids, near the nose (under the skin). Then they flow into a tear ‘sac’, and from there they pass through a wide channel, the ‘naso-lacrimal duct’ into the inside of the nose. Watery eyes occur when there is too much tear production or poor drainage of the tear duct.
