Bags Under Eyes

"I wish I had access to your site years ago! I am 48 now, but from as early as 30 I have had suffered with horrible bags under my eyes. They were so bad, that I was afraid to go to socialise and even going to work proved a challenge because my self-esteem was so low! "

Bags under the eyes and sagging eyelids? The main cause of bags under the eyes and sagging eyelids are the natural ageing process. Sooner or later, everyone is confronted with this phenomenon. Smoking, drinking and the sun can accelerate this process. Aging is accompanied by the reduction of the elastic connective tissue cells. Through this, the skin looses its tautness and suppleness; the upper eyelids start to sag. In addition, the connective tissue that keeps the fatty tissue in place becomes weaker. Because of this the fat starts to protrude with the well known bags under the eyes as a result.

Bags Under Eyes

From Jai:  "First get your thyroid checked.... if you drink alcohol  a lot,,,,stop.....if due to fatigue get some sleep, if all else fails then soak a tea bag in lukewarm water and place on your eyes (make sure they are closed at the time...lol) or cucumbers."
