Hormonal Acne

Advice from Gretta, Crossford :

Grind nutmeg with un-boiled milk and apply on affected area. Acne should disappear without leaving a mark.  Particularly good for hormonal skin problems

 

Advice from Gretta, Crossford : Apply a mixture of 1 teaspoon lemon juice and 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder.  Rub fresh garlic on hormonal acne areas. Acne will disappear without a mark with regular applications.

Hormonal Acne

Women may find an outbreak of acne around the age of 30 even though they did not have acne in their teens. More than likely, this will be hormone related. Hormones can stimulate sebaceous glands and hair follicles and oil-producing glands can work overtime.

Pregnancy, menopause or post-menopause may also be a time for hormonal acne. Indeed hormonal changes of any type may trigger an acne outbreak.
