Ingredients
Makes 5-10, depending on how thickly you spread the filling
- 1lb (450g) cooked ham (proper stuff please, none of that processed rubbish) 4 tbsp mayonnaise, or enough to bind the ham
- 1 tbsp whole-grain mustard
- tabasco sauce, to taste
- dash of worcestershire sauce
- ½ small red onion, chopped
- 1 small dill pickle, chopped
- sea salt and black pepper, to taste
- sliced white bread (2 slices per sandwich)
Method
- Put the ham into a food processor with the mayonnaise, mustard, Tabasco sauce, Worcestershire sauce, red onion, and dil pickle
- Pulse to a coarse paste (you don’t want it too smooth)
- Taste, then season with salt and pepper if necessary (it may not need any at al )
- Spread the paste onto 1 slice of bread, then top with another slice to make each sandwich
- Serve
