Gin And Tonic Spanish Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 ounces hendrick’s gin or other top-quality gin, plus a bit more
- 4 ounces top-quality tonic water or more to taste (see tip)
- 2 strips lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon dried juniper berries
Method
- Fill 2 8-ounce rocks glasses three-quarters full of ice
- Pour 2 ounces of gin over the ice in each glass
- Top each with about 2 ounces of tonic water
- Twist the peel over the ice to release its oils, then rub the rim with the peel and drop it into the glass
- Drop in a few juniper berries and, holding your thumb over the opening of the gin bottle, float a tiny layer of gin on top
