Keto Haggis Recipe

Ingredients

  • 120g Sausages, Cumberland if possible
  • 40g Butter
  • 15g coarse oatbran
  • 80g Black pudding, raw (minus skin)
  • 50g animal fat
  • 1 tsp dried herbs
  • 1 tsp onion salt

Method

  1. Remove the sausage meat from the skin
  2. Mix with the black pudding, butter, herbs, fat & season with onion salt (optional)
  3. Form into an oval shaped ball
  4. Roll tightly in cling film to shape
  5. Make sure it is well wrapped with 3-4 layers twist the ends and tie to make a handle
  6. Place in a small pan of boiling water cover with a lid and simmer for 20 mins
  7. Cool in the cling film for a few minutes before serving
  8. You can freeze but make sure you reheat them thoroughly when serving
