HOMEOPATHS
and
WHAT DO THEY
DO
A homeopath is someone who understands the patients
symptoms, and who can accurately match a remedy to them.

A homeopath is someone who heals the whole person by
treating 'like with like', and understands the holistic homeopathic
philosophy of healing.

They will have vast knowledge of the materia
medica and be able apply the relevant homeopathic remedy. They
should also have clinical experience to call themselves homeopaths.

A homeopath is not someone who has been on a weekend
or even a several weeks course, or someone who has studied homeopathy
from books.

Practicing homeopathy is unique to qualified doctors
- the majority of homeopaths are "lay" homeopaths yet they will be
better versed in homeopathy than the vast majority of doctors.

They should be registered with the Council of
Organisations Registering Homeopaths must qualify as a homeopath only
after 4 years of extensive training.

There are additional therapies often offered by the
homeopath which are not strictly homeopathy and shouldn't be confused
with homeopathy although they have their place.

Homeopathy is the matching of a patient's symptoms to
a homeopathic remedy according to principles laid down
