Keto Asparagus Pecandine Recipe

Ingredients

  • 5 tablespoons (70 g) butter
  • 1/2 cup (60 g) chopped pecans
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons tarragon vinegar
  • 1 pound (455 g) asparagus, steamed just until tender-crisp

Method

  1. Melt the butter in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat
  2. Stir in the pecans and saute, stirring frequently, for 5 to 7 minutes or until the pecans are golden and crisp
  3. Stir in the tarragon vinegar
  4. Place the asparagus on serving plates and spoon the sauce over it
  5. Serve immediately

Makes 4 servings

  1. Each with 8 grams of carbohydrates and 4 grams of fiber, for a total of 4 grams of usable carbs and 4 grams of protein
