Ingredients
- 6 pounds (2.7 kg) boneless, skinless chickee
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 5 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/4 cup (24 g) grated ginger
- 4 teaspoons purchased garam masala
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) lime juice
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) rice vinegar
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon salt
Method
- Put the chicken, onion, and garlic in a slow cooker
- In a bowl, stir together the remaining ingredients
- Pour the mixture over the chicken
- Cover the slow cooker, set it to low, and let it cook for 6 to 7 hours
- Serve with Major Greys Chutney
Makes 12 servings
