- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound rib eye, cut into strips
- 2 tablespoons rice wine
- 1/4 cup beef bone broth
- sea salt and ground black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh chives, finely chopped
- 2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 2 small-sized ripe tomatoes, pureed
- 1 yellow onion, peeled and chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried marjoram
Method
- Heat the oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Sear the beef for 6 to 7 minutes, stirring periodically.
- Work in batches.
- Add the remaining ingredients, reduce the heat to medium-low and let it cook for 40 minutes.
