Keto Smoked Haddock Fish Burgers Recipe

  • 2 tablespoons sunflower oil
  • 8 ounces smoked haddock
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
  • 1/4 cup scallions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh garlic, minced
  • salt and ground black pepper, to taste
  • 4 lemon wedges

Method

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Cook the haddock for 6 minutes or until just cooked through; discard the skin and bones and flake into small pieces.
  3. Mix the smoked haddock, egg, cheese, chili powder, parsley, scallions, garlic, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl.
  4. Heat the remaining tablespoon of oil and cook fish burgers until they are well cooked in the middle or about 6 minutes.
  5. Garnish each serving with a lemon wedge.
