The Benefit of using Lavender as a natural cure

Lavender can help with a variety of rheumatic and post-traumatic pains, for instance after a fall. It is gently relaxing for the muscles and will therefore help with any muscle tension or a spasm caused by the inflammation or injury. It is also anti-inflammatory and anti-rheumatic. I recommend adding it to the healing creams that deal with extensive bruising or non-specific rheumatic pains.

Take a hot bath with added essential oils of rosemary or lavender or wintergreen (for precautions see pages 71, 72 and 74). Adults: 5-10 drops per bath.

Drink lavender tea. Adults: 1 cup as soon as you feel the headache coming on; use 1 teaspoonful of loose herbs per cup.
