Low Fat Chicken In A Bun Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 skinless boneless chicken breast halves, 12 ounces total
  • 1 tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • nonstick spray coating
  • 2 tablespoons fat-free italian salad dressing
  • 4 whole-grain hamburger buns, toasted
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 4 thin slices red onion
  • 4 tomato slices
  • 1/2 small cucumber, thinly sliced

Method

  1. Rinse chicken; pat dry.
  2. Brush with soy sauce.
  3. Spray an unheated large skillet with nonstick coating.
  4. Heat skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add chicken and cook 8 to 10 minutes or till chicken is tender and no longer pink, turning once.
  6. Drizzle chicken with salad dressing.
  7. Serve on buns with lettuce, onion, tomato, and cucumber.
