Ploughmans Sandwich Recipe
Ingredients
Makes 1
- 2 slices of your favorite bread
- mayonnaise
- sandwich pickle/relish (branston pickle is a personal favorite) mature cheddar cheese, sliced
- cold baked ham, sliced
- scallions (spring onions), thinly sliced
- boston (butterhead) lettuce leaves
- pickled onions, to serve
Method
- Spread 1 slice of bread with mayonnaise and the other with pickle
- Add slices of cheese and ham, and top with scal ions (spring onions) and lettuce leaves
- Sandwich together and serve the pickled onions on the side
