  • 1-2 1/2 lb. fryer, cut up and skinned
  • 1/2 clove garlic, crushed
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Paprika to taste
  • 1 c. orange juice
  • 1/2 c. tomato puree
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce (or more to taste)
  • 2-3 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 med. green pepper, chopped
  • 2 sm. oranges, peeled and sectioned
  • Method

  • Rub chicken with garlic and sprinkle with salt, pepper and paprika.
  • Put in casserole.
  • Mix orange juice, puree, soy sauce, and mustard.
  • Add green pepper.
  • Pour over chicken.
  • Cover and bake in 350 degree oven 50 minutes, or until tender.
  • Add oranges; bake 5 to 10 minutes longer, until oranges are heated through.
