Ingredients
- 6 slices fresh fish, any deep sea fish
- 1 onion, minced
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/4 tsp. paprika
- 1/4 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 bay leaf
- 5 whole allspice
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- MARINADE:
- 1 c. white wine
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1-2 hot chili peppers to taste
- 1 tbsp. salt
Method
- Crush garlic, chili peppers, and salt in a mortar; add wine and vinegar
- Marinate fish for a few hours or overnight
- Place fish in a deep baking dish, add all ingredients and enough water to cover fish
- Bake uncovered for about 45 minutes in a preheated 400 degree oven
- Serves 3-4 people
