Portuguese Pork Recipe

Ingredients

  • 5 lbs. pork, cut into 2 inch cubes
  • 1 1/2 c. vinegar or white wine
  • 2 c. water
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 2 tsp. paprika
  • 2 tbsp. salt
  • 3 tbsp. oil

Method

  1. Brown meat on both sides
  2. Cover 1/2 with liquid and seasoning
  3. Simmer on top of stove or oven medium heat, 3-4 hours
