  • 1 med. onion, chopped
  • 1/4 c. olive oil
  • Saute until the sausage is almost done. Then add: 1 can tomato sauce
  • 8 c. water
  • 1 (10 oz.) box frozen sugar peas or broccoli (optional)
  • Method

  • Cook for 3/4 hour.
  • Then add 3 cups of uncooked rice.
  • Let simmer until all the water is gone.
  • Can also be made with chicken or shrimp instead of the sausage.
