Quick Herb Munchies Recipe

  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 11/2 tablespoons dried or fresh rosemary, finely chopped if fresh
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground dried sage
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper, plus more as needed
  • 1 large (4.4-ounce) bag of your favorite air-popped popcorn, lightly salted or unsalted
  • olive oil spray
  • sea salt


  1. Mix together the parmesan, rosemary, oregano, sage, and pepper in a bowl
  2. Open the bag of popcorn
  3. Spray the inside with olive oil for 2 seconds
  4. Then close the bag and shake it that so the pieces at the bottom can get sprayed as well
  5. Open the bag again and spray inside for another 2 seconds
  6. Sprinkle in the seasoning mix, seal the bag (leaving some air so the popcorn can move around), then shake it for about 1 minute so the popcorn is coated with the seasonings
  7. Add the contents to a large serving bowl, being sure to shake out any seasoning that has accumulated in the bottom of the bag
  8. Season to taste with sea salt and additional pepper
  9. Store the popcorn in a resealable plastic bag with as little air as possible
