Keto Salmon Patties Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 3/4 ounces, or 415 g) salmon
  • 1/4 cup (25 g) oat bran
  • 1 egg
  • 2 scallions, finely sliced
  • 3 tablespoons (42 g) butter

Method

  1. Drain the salmon, place it in a mixing bowl, and mash it well
  2. Don’t worry about any skin that may be in there; mash it right in
  3. Add the oat bran, egg, and scallions and mix everything well
  4. Form into 4 patties
  5. Melt the butter in a heavy skillet over medium heat
  6. Saute the patties in the butter, turning carefully, until they’re quite golden on both sides (7 to 10 minutes per side)
  7. Makes 2 servings
  8. Each with 9 grams of carbohydrates and 2 grams of fiber, for a total of 7 grams usable carbs and 47 grams of protein
