Slow Cooker Rice Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (185 g) uncooked long-grain rice
  • 477 ml water
  • ½ tablespoon (7 g) unsalted butter

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker
  2. Cover and cook on low 4 to 6 hours or on high 2 to 3 hours until rice is just fully cooked
  3. Fluff with a fork
  4. Serve
  5. Yield: 6 servings
  6. Per serving: 83 g water; 121 calories (9% from fat, 7% from protein, 84% from carb)
