Swiss Keto Steak Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 3 pounds (1.4 kg) beef round
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) beef bouillon concentrate
  • 8 ounces (240 ml) vegetable juice
  • 2 stalks celery, sliced
  • guar or xanthan (optional)

Method

  1. Place the onion in a slow cooker
  2. Place the beef on top
  3. In a bowl, stir the bouillon into the vegetable juice
  4. Pour the mixture over the beef
  5. Scatter the celery on top
  6. Cover the slow cooker, set it to low, and let it cook for 8 to 10 hours
  7. When the times up, thicken the juices with guar or xanthan, if desired
  8. Serve over Ketatoes

Makes 8 servings
