Whats Good for Arthritis

Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic inflammatory and degenerative disease of unknown cause. It produces an inflammation of the membrane that protects the cartilages of the joints, producing pain and in the long term, a deformation of them that prevents the development of daily activity. Although the cause is unknown, there are studies that show that there is a hereditary component, as it is also known to affect women more and increases with age.

  7. It is also believed that allergies to certain foods can be problematic. Eggs, milk and cereals are the foods that create the most intolerances.
  8. Allergy-like food sensitivities, whether inborn or caused by a leaky gut, can worsen pollen allergies, and they have been shown to increase symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis.
  9. Avoid sudden movements, rest enough, maintain proper postures during study and work.
  10. Exercise is always recommended for patients affected by rheumatism. However, exercise has to be gentle to avoid damaging the joints. Swimming is one of the most recommended sports, along with soft gymnastics and cycling.
