Air Fryer Corn Bread Recipe


Serves 2-4

  • ½ cup yellow cornmeal
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1½ teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup fresh or frozen corn kernels
  • ½ cup fresh jalapeno (optional), sliced thin and seeds removed non-stick cooking spray


  1. Whisk all dry ingredients together in a mixing bowl
  2. Lightly beat wet ingredients together, then pour over the dry mix and whisk until smooth
  3. Mix in corn and jalapenos
  4. Lightly coat an oven-safe dish* with non-stick spray; pour in corn bread mixture
  5. Place the dish into the basket, then put the basket and pan into the AIR FRYER
  6. Set temperature to 350 degrees and set timer for 25 minutes
  7. When timer goes off, check for doneness with a toothpick
  8. When inserted off center it should come out clean
  9. If not done, bake 5 minutes longer
  10. When cooking is complete, invert onto a plate, then invert onto another plate to have rounded top facing up
