Barbecued Turkey Thighs Slow Cooker Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds (1 3 kg) turkey thighs, skin removed ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/3 cup (113 g) molasses
  • 1/3 cup (80 ml) cider vinegar
  • ½ cup (120 g) low-salt ketchup
  • 3 tbsps (45 ml) Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon liquid smoke 2 tablespoons (20 g) minced onion

Method

  1. Place turkey in slow cooker
  2. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over turkey
  3. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 7 hours
  4. Yield: 6 servings
  5. Per serving: 202 g water; 368 calories (24% from fat, 52% from protein, 25% from carb)
