Roasted Broccolini With Herb Tahini Sauce


Serves : 4-6

Roasted Broccolini.

  • 1 pound broccolini, trimmed
  • 1 lemons zest and half a lemons juice
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • kosher salt

Herb-Tahini Sauce.

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 1/2 Cup fine mixed herbs
  • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • kosher salt


To Roast the Broccolini

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees
  2. Lay the broccolini on a sheet pan
  3. Drizzle the oil over all of the broccolini and toss to coat
  4. Sprinkle the broccolini with kosher salt and the zest of one lemon
  5. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon over the broccolini and then roast the broccolini for 10 minutes

For the Sauce

  1. In the jar of a blender combine all of the ingredients and puree until smooth and creamy
  2. Add a tablespoon or two of water if needed
  3. Season to taste with kosher salt
  4. To serve, arrange the broccolini on a platter and drizzle the sauce generously over the broccolini
  5. Sprinkle with the pomegranate seeds for garnish
