Crock Pot Healthy Kale And Chicken Soup Slow Cooker


  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 3 1/2 cups of homemade chicken bone broth
  • 1/2 of a large white onion – chopped
  • 4 large cloves of garlic – smashed
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded carrots
  • 4 cups of chopped kale
  • 1 1/2 tsp parsley
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. Place the chicken pieces in the crock pot and top up with the chopped onions
  2. Toss in the garlic and pour the broth around the ingredients
  3. Allow to cook for about 6 hours on low until the chicken is fork tender
  4. Shred the meat with a fork
  5. Toss in the carrots, parsley, and kale and adjust seasonings with salt and pepper
  6. Cook for another hour or a little more
