Custard-Based Rice Pudding Recipe

Ingredients

  • Serving Size : 1
  • 2/3 cup rice
  • 1 1/3 cups milk
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon soft butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/3 cup raisins

Method

  1. Cook rice according to package directions; drain it and rinse it with cold water.
  2. Combine milk, salt, sugar, butter, vanilla and eggs with rice; beat well.
  3. Add raisins; mix lightly with fork.
  4. Grease a baking dish and pour mixture in.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees until it is set and a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
