  • 3 tablespoons (45 ml) lime juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce Salt to taste


  1. Halve the avocados and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl
  2. Mash coarsely with a fork
  3. Mix in the onion, lime juice, garlic, hot pepper sauce, and salt, stirring to blend well and mashing to the desired consistency

Makes 6 generous servings
