Halibut Royale Seafood Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 pounds halibut steaks — thawed if necessary
  • 1/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup minced green onions

Method

  1. Combine wine and salt; pour over halibut
  2. Marinate in refrigerator at least 1 hour
  3. Drain halibut on paper towels; dip both sides in bread crumbs
  4. Place halibut in shallow buttered baking dish
  5. Combine sour cream, mayonnaise and green onions; spread over halibut
  6. Sprinkle with paprika
  7. Bake at 450 F for 10 minutes per inch of thickness, measured at thickest part, or until halibut flakes when tested with a fork.
