After the all-fruit diet, the patient can gradually adopt a well- balanced diet. Emphasis should be on raw foods, especially fresh fruits and vegetables ; sprouted seeds, raw nuts and whole grain cereals, particularly millet and brown rice. Further short periods on the all-fruits diet for three days or so may be necesssary at a monthly interval, till the skin’s condition improves.

The human body needs calcium more than any other mineral. A man weighing 70 kg. contains one kg. of calcium. About 99 per cent of the quantity in the body is used for building strong bonesand teeth and the remaining one per cent is used by the blood, muscles and nerves.
Until relatively recently, understanding the Paleolithic diet was largely the province of anthropologists and archeologists, scientists who worked in obscurity at museums and universities. In 1985 S. Boyd Eaton, M.D., of Emory University, Atlanta, and his anthropologist colleagues published a watershed article in the New England Journal of Medicine that gave medical credibility to ancient nutrition.
Adults and children: 10 drops of lavender essential oil to 50g of the cream base (e.g. comfrey cream).
Research conducted by Francis Pottenger, M.D., during the 1930s offers a clue about how modern dietary changes have led to significant increases in the prevalence of allergies. Pottenger conducted a variety of dietary studies on more than nine hundred cats. He found that when the quality of their diets declined, health problems developed and grew worse, with each subsequent generation eating the same poor diet. By the third generation 90 percent of cats eating poor diets had developed allergies and skin diseases (which were usually manifestations of allergy).
