  • 1/2 stick butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup white onion, chopped
  • 4 ounces button mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/3 pound pork loin chops
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
  • salt and ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup Swiss cheese, shredded

Method

  1. Melt 1/4 of the butter stick in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Then, saute the onions and mushrooms until the onions are translucent and the mushrooms are tender and fragrant, about 5 minutes.
  3. Reserve.
  4. Then, melt the remaining 1/4 of the butter stick and cook pork until slightly browned on all sides, about 10 minutes.
  5. Add the onion mixture, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  6. Lastly, top with cheese; cover and let it cook on medium-low heat until cheese has melted.
