Ingredients
Serves: 3.
- 3 ounces cream cheese
- 3 slices bacon
- 1 medium jalapeno pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste.
Method
- Place 3 slices of bacon in a medium skillet and fry until crisp on both sides.
- Transfer to a plate lined with paper towel and let them cool, reserving the bacon fat.
- Remove the seeds from the jalapeno pepper and thinly slice it.
- Place in a small bowl along with the cream cheese and bacon fat.
- Add the onion powder, garlic powder, parsley, salt and pepper and mix well to combine.
- Break up the bacon into small pieces and place on a plate.
- Shape the cream cheese mixture into walnut size balls and coat with the bacon crumbles.
- Chill the fat bombs for 15-20 minutes.
