Mexican Beef Cheese Dip Slow Cooker Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pound (455 g) extra-lean ground beef
  • 1 cup (160 g) chopped onion
  • 476 g refried beans
  • 1 tbsp (7 g) salt-free mexican seasoning
  • 1 cup (230 g) fat-free sour cream
  • ½ cup (58 g) shredded Cheddar cheese

Method

  1. Brown beef and onions in a skillet over medium-high heat and stir in refried beans and Mexican seasoning
  2. Place in bottom of slow cooker
  3. Spread sour cream over and sprinkle with cheese
  4. Cover and cook on low for 1½ to 2 hours
  5. Yield: 20 servings
  6. Per serving: 52 g water; 110 calories (56% from fat, 25% from protein, 19% from carb)
