Pasta And Bean Soup Slow Cooker Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup (180 g) chopped tomatoes
- ½ cup (75 g) uncooked macaroni
- ½ cup (80 g) chopped onion
- ¼ cup (40 g) chopped green bell pepper
- 1 tsp basil
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon chopped garlic
- 1 can (15 ounces, or 420 g) no-salt-added kidney beans, drained
- 1 can 15 ounces, or 420 g no-salt-added chickpeas, drained
- 475 ml low-salt vegetable broth
Method
- Combine all ingredients in slow cooker
- Cook on low 5 to 6 hours
- Yield: 6 servings
- Per serving: 224 g water; 216 calories (7% from fat, 24% from protein, 70% from carb)
