Snow Crab And Chicken Teriyaki Seafood

Ingredients

  • 4 skinless boneless chicken breast halves
  • 4 snow crab clusters — thawed if necessary

Teriyaki Marinade:

  • 3/4 cup peanut oil
  • 6 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 6 tablespoons sherry
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger root — grated
  • 2 teaspoons orange zest
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons minced garlic

Method

  1. Place chicken in glass pan
  2. Cover with 3/4 cup Teriyaki Marinade
  3. Set aside 1/2 cup Teriyaki Marinade for dipping sauce
  4. This should not touch raw chicken
  5. Cover chicken with plastic and refrigerate 4-8 hours
  6. Place chicken on broiling pan and broil 5-6 inches from heat for 15-20 minutes
  7. Turn chicken while broiling and brush with another 1/4 cup Teriyaki Marinade
  8. Meanwhile, brush Snow Crab with oil and broil 5-6 inches from heat for 5 minutes
  9. Serve chicken and crab with reserved 1/2 cup Teriyaki Marinade for dipping
  10. Teriyaki Marinade: Whisk together peanut oil, soy sauce, sherry, brown sugar, grated ginger, orange zest and minced garlic
