Activities (Nasturtium) – Allergenic ; Antibacterial ; Antipyretic ; Antiscorbutic ; Antiseptic ; Depurative ; Diuretic ; Emmenagogue ; Expectorant ; Fungicide ; Laxative ; Rodenticide ; Rubefacient ; Stimulant ; Vulnerary .

Adults: 0.4-1.6ml diluted with some water, 1-3 times a day, tincture strength 1:1; or 1g of liquorice powder, 2-3 times a day, mixed with water; or thyme and liquorice syrup, 1 teaspoonful 2-5 times a day.

If you have no calendula cream, soak the burned area in a cold calendula infusion for 5-10 minutes or apply a cold calendula infusion compress. For precautions see page 114.
