Ingredients
- Serves: 4
- 2.2 lbs potatoes, peel and cut into cubes
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 4 tomatoes, chopped
- 1/4 tsp red chili flakes
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp salt
Method
- In a bowl, mix together chili flakes, chili powder, cumin, turmeric, garam masala, and ginger.
- Heat oil in the pan over medium heat.
- Add mustard seeds into the pan and stir until they start to pop then add onion and saute until lightly brown.
- Add mixed spices and stir for a minute.
- Add tomatoes and salt and stir for a minute.
- Place potatoes in the slow cooker then pour pan mixture over the potatoes.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
- Stir well and serve.
