Bricklayers on average lay 150-200 blocks per day subject to weather conditions and the complexity of the job. Obviously some will lay more blocks and some less. The burn figures are averages but if you lay more or less than average, just look up/down to the next weight group (or even 2 groups up/down). The more honest you are about your effort, the more accurate the calorie burn will be.

On an average day Men age 17-25 should burn around 2300 calories in a 8 hour period and Men 25-35 a theoretical 2200 calories over 8 hours. Women in the 17-21 age range, on average burn 2200 calories with Women 25-35 burning 2100.
Over 35s Men over 35 should burn around 2100 calories in a 8 hour period and Women over 35 around 2000 over 8 hours.
