  • 750g turkey or chicken mince
  • 1 small brown onion, grated
  • 35g packet salt-reduced taco seasoning mix
  • 1 cup fresh white breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • olive oil cooking spray
  • corn chips, to serve

Tomato salsa

  • 2 tomatoes, seeds removed, diced
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 310g can corn kernels, drained
  • 1/2 cup coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1 lime, juiced


  1. Preheat oven to 200°C with baking paper, Line a large baking tray
  2. To make tomato salsa: Combine tomato, avocado, corn kernels, coriander and two tablespoons lime juice in a bowl
  3. Season with salt and pepper
  4. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve
  5. Combine onion, mince, taco seasoning mix, breadcrumbs and coriander in a large bowl
  6. Mix well
  7. Roll table spoonfuls of mixture into balls
  8. Place on baking tray
  9. Spray with oil
  10. Bake for twenty minutes or until cooked through
  11. Serve with tomato salsa and corn chips
