Vegan Tortilla Chips Recipe

Ingredients

Makes 32 chips

  • 4 (6-inch) flour tortillas
  • olive oil or nonstick cooking spray
  • salt

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F
  2. Lightly brush both sides of the tortillas with oil
  3. Cut each tortilla into eighths and place the triangles on a baking sheet
  4. Sprinkle with salt to taste and bake until crisp and lightly browned, 8 to 10 minutes
  5. Cool completely before serving
  6. These are best eaten on the day they are made but, once cooled, they can be covered and stored at room temperature for 1 to 2 days
