Hamburger Fingerlings Recipe

Ingredients

  • Serving Size : 4
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound pork sausage
  • 1 can condensed chicken rice soup – (10 1/2 oz)
  • 2 Eggs – slightly beaten
  • 1 medium onion – chopped
  • 1 cup soft bread crumbs
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1 pinch basil
  • 1 package potato chips – crushed (4 oz)
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup – (10 1/2 oz)
  • 1/2 Soup can water

Method

  1. Combine all but last four ingredients.
  2. Shape into fingers 1 1/2″ x 4″.
  3. Roll in crushed potato chips.
  4. Brown on all sides in butter in skillet.
  5. Place browned fingers in a 8 x 12 inch baking dish.
  6. Drain fat from skillet.
  7. Stir in mushroom soup and water, blend.
  8. Pour over meat.
  9. Bake, uncovered, for 45 minutes to 1 hour at 325 degrees.
  10. Can be reheated.
  11. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
