Spicy Chicken Curry Indian Recipe

Ingredients

  • Serves: 4
  • 4 chicken thighs, boneless and cut into chunks
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 2 tsp ground coriander
  • 2 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tsp turmeric
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1/2 lemon juice
  • 4 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 onion, chopped
  • 2 green chilies, chopped
  • 14 oz can tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Method

  1. Add ginger, chilies, garlic, and onion into the blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Heat oil in the pan over medium heat.
  3. Add blended puree into the pan and saute for 3 minutes.
  4. Add spices and saute for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add flour and tomatoes into the pan and stir well.
  6. Refill tomato can halfway with water and adds in the pan.
  7. Stir well.
  8. Add chicken into the slow cooker and season with pepper and salt.
  9. Pour pan mixture over the chicken with lemon juice.
  10. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
  11. Serve and enjoy.
