Crock Pot Chorizo Chicken And Tomato Soup Slow Cooker Recipe


  • 4 lbs. Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs
  • 1 lb. Chorizo
  • 4 Cups Chicken Stock
  • 1 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 Can Stewed Tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Frank’s Red Hot Sauce
  • garnish with Shaved Parmesan and. Sour Cream


  1. Heat a skillet and place the chorizo on the warm skillet
  2. Saute the chorizo for a little while until slightly brown in color
  3. Place the chicken thighs in the bottom of a crock pot
  4. Lay the browned chorizo over the thighs
  5. Toss in the balance ingredients
  6. Leave for about 3 hours on high and allow the ingredients to cook well
  7. Transfer the chicken thighs into a platter and shred the meat
  8. Place the meat back into the crock pot
  9. Leave for about 30-40 minutes on a low heat
  10. Serve garnished with Parmesan and
  11. Sour cream
