Crock Pot Buffalo Chicken Lettuce Wraps Slow Cooker Recipe


For the chicken:

  • 24 oz. boneless skinless chicken breast 1 celery stalk
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 16 oz. fat free low sodium chicken
  • broth
  • 1/2 cup hot cayenne pepper sauce

For the wraps:

  • 6 large lettuce leaves, Bibb
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded carrots
  • 2 large celery stalks, cut into 2 inch matchsticks


  1. Place the chicken, celery stalks, garlic and broth in a crock pot and cook covered on high for 4 hours
  2. Remove the chicken and shred it
  3. Retain only half cup of broth in the crock pot and throw out the rest
  4. Add the shredded chicken back to the crock pot with the hot pepper sauce and cook for an extra 30 minutes on high

For the wraps, place half a cup of buffalo chicken on each lettuce leaf with ¼ cup carrots, celery and your favorite dressing and wrap
