Hot Buttered Rum Slow Cooker Recipe

Ingredients

  • ½ cup (112 g) unsalted butter
  • 1 cinnamon sticks
  • 3 whole cloves
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 950 ml brewed tea
  • 9 L hot water
  • 475 ml rum

Method

  1. Put all ingredients in slow cooker
  2. Stir well
  3. Cover and cook on high for 2 hours and then turn to low for 3 to 10 hours
  4. Serve from slow cooker in warm mugs
  5. Yield: 15 servings
