Ingredients

  • 280 g shredded red cabbage
  • 1 cup (160 g) chopped onion
  • 1 cup (150 g) peeled and chopped apple
  • ½ cup (115 g) brown sugar
  • ½ cup (120 ml) cider vinegar

Method

  1. Place vegetables in a slow cooker
  2. Combine sugar and vinegar, pour over vegetables, and stir to mix
  3. Cook on low for 7 to 8 hours
  4. Yield: 6 servings
