Spiced Apple Wine Slow Cooker Recipe
Ingredients
- 475 ml cranberry juice
- 2 L apple cider
- 700 ml dry red wine
- ¼ cup (60 g) brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon whole cloves
- ¼ teaspoon whole allspice berries
- cinnamon stick
Method
- Combine all ingredients in slow cooker
- Cover and cook on low 3 to 4 hours
- Remove cloves, allspice, and cinnamon before serving
- Yield: 9 servings
- Per serving: 189 g water; 155 calories (2% from fat, 1% from protein, 98% from carb)
