Simple Macaroni And Cheese Slow Cooker Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (235 ml) buttermilk
  • 2 tbsps (28 g) unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ cup (120 ml) egg substitute
  • 230 g grated Cheddar cheese, divided
  • 225g macaroni, cooked and drained

Method

  1. Mix buttermilk, butter, egg substitute, and 1¼ cups (145 g) cheese well and then blend with macaroni and place in slow cooker
  2. Top with remaining ¾ cup (80 g) cheese
  3. Start cooking on high until hot and then turn to low and cook for about 4 hours
  4. Yield: 4 servings
  5. Per serving: 142 g water; 457 calories (59% from fat, 22% from protein, 19% from carb)
