Cranberry Applesauce Slow Cooker Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 apples, peeled or unpeeled, cut into 1-inch (2 5 cm) cubes
  • ½ cup (120 ml) apple juice
  • ½ cup (55 g) fresh cranberries
  • ¼ cup (50 g) sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker
  2. Cover and cook on low 3 to 4 hours or until apples are as soft as you like them
  3. Serve warm or refrigerate and serve chilled
  4. Yield: 6 servings
  5. Per serving: 136 g water; 108 calories (2% from fat, 1% from protein, 97% from carb)
